Fifteen years of engineering delivered with discipline
Berry Light BB Ltd was established to give operators in Nigeria's oil, gas and industrial sectors a contractor capable of carrying a project from engineering through fabrication, installation and marine support without passing risk between multiple firms.
A single contractor across the full project lifecycle
What began as a specialist fabrication and installation outfit has grown into a full scope engineering and contracting company. Today our teams handle mechanical fabrication, civil works, electrical and instrumentation, facility maintenance, diving and corrosion control, supported by an in house project management function that keeps every discipline aligned to one schedule.
That growth was deliberate. Clients told us the biggest source of delay and cost overrun on multi contractor projects was the interface between disciplines, so we built the capability to remove that interface entirely.
Our Mission
To deliver engineering and construction work that operators can rely on without needing to look over our shoulder, through disciplined planning, qualified people and honest reporting from start to finish.
Our Vision
To be the engineering and contracting partner Nigerian and multinational operators turn to first for fixed asset and marine support work, recognised for reliability across every discipline we practice.
The standards our project delivery is built on
Health, Safety and Environment Policy
Nothing on a Berry Light site takes priority over the safety of the people on it. Our HSE management system governs permit to work, hazard identification, incident reporting and emergency response across every project, and it applies equally to our direct staff and to subcontractors working under our supervision. Every worker has the authority, and the obligation, to stop a task the moment it looks unsafe.
Quality Management
Our quality management approach follows recognised international practice for engineering and fabrication work, covering document control, material certification, welding procedure qualification, inspection and test planning, and final handover documentation. Independent third party inspection is engaged on scopes where a client's certification requirements call for it.
Local Content
We are committed to Nigerian content development in line with the guidance of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board. Our workforce is predominantly Nigerian, our supply chain draws on local fabrication and material suppliers wherever quality standards allow, and every project we run builds the skills of the technicians and engineers who will carry the industry forward.
